"I was very pleased with everything that took place on my procedure day. Dr.Thyssen' performed my procedure. He has great bedside manner, and made me feel I was in good hands. The staff involved with the procedure was great and showed genuine concern for me. I appreciate the care and effort given to make everything comfortable for me. I saw the same care and genuineness with other patients I observed. "I had to go to the ER due to food stuck in my esophagus and Dr. Thyssen was the physician there. Immediately after I met him I felt a sense of calm, he is a genuine man with great bedside manner. "Dr. Singh was wonderful, I didn’t feel rush when she’s explaining things with me. The only thing I didn’t like is the prep solution you have to drink, I did ask for alternative prep medication to take but she doesn’t have any. I heard there’s a pill you can take with the same results for prepping prior to the procedure. Plus that the solution was so expensive even with a discount. My insurance doesn’t cover it at all, and for being diabetic the solution was too sweet!"

I reached out to her and was told to start iron. If she looks at my records she could see that iron supplements do not help, that I might need an infusion instead. "My experience was very good. The timing was exceptional-didn’t have to wait long from time of check-in to procedure. Everyone of the staff was friendly and attentive. The only problem (which I didn’t know until my IV was being removed) was that the tourniquet was left on my arm. The nurse who removed it noticed it and made sure my arm and hand was ok. There was a light mark on my arm but it mustn’t have been too tight because I didn’t really feel it. I know she mentioned this to the nurse who put the IV in. I’m glad she made the person aware of it and I’m sure she will be more careful from now on. Thank you again."
